The city of Lowell is nearing the end of a multi-year process of updating its master plan. The new version, called Sustainable Lowell 2025 is now available in draft form and public comments and suggestions are being aggressively solicited by city planners. A public comment event will be held tomorrow evening, January 9 (Wednesday) at the Lowell Senior Center, 276 Broadway, from 6 to 8 pm. Comments can also be sent by email (awilliams@lowellma.gov) and should be transmitted no later than January 15, 2013.
Even if you're not from Lowell, if you have any interest in urban issues or strategic planning, this document will be of considerable interest to you so please check it out.
