A busy day (compared to what?)

Last Friday was the busiest day we've had in a long while here at the registry of deeds. It was the last day of April and the last Friday of the month which both tend to have substantial increases in activity over any other day of the month. But where does this past April 30 fit, volume of recording wise, with the other April 30th's of the past decade (and I use "April 30" to mean the last day on which we were open for business). Here are some numbers so you can make your own comparisons:

- 591 documents recorded
- 685
- 575
- 749
- 816
- 712
- 564
- 540
- 374
- 313
- 470
